According to MARPOL Annex II-
* Vessel constructed before 1st July 1986, for Category Y,Z maximum 300ltrs can be remain in the tank and associated lines. And for Cat- X maximum 900 ltrs can be remain.
* Vessel constructed on or after 1st July 1986 but b4 2007,For Category Y, Z maximum 100 ltrs can be remain in the tank and associated lines. And for Category X maximum 300 ltrs can be remain.
* Vessel constructed after on or after 2007, For Category X,Y,Z maximum 75 Ltrs can be remain in the tank and associated lines.
